Meet Taryn — Founder & CEO
Standards, Quality & Operations
Cleaning is not a casual task for Taryn. Her standards were shaped by a no-excuses upbringing, New Mexico Military Institute, Army service, restaurant food service, animal-hospital sanitation, and hands-on cleaning for a property manager. Every chapter taught the same thing: details matter, and “good enough” is not good enough.
At Truly Local, she cleans for the first impression, the listing photo, and the guest who opens the door tired after a long trip. Beds are reset with intention, supplies are checked, and every room gets the kind of attention she would want if her own kids were staying there next.
She oversees quality control and will not call a property done until it feels clean, cared for, and genuinely ready to host.

Meet Travis — Co-Founder & Director of Property Care
Maintenance, Communications & Bike Builds
Seattle-born and raised, Travis understands the neighborhoods, building styles, and environmental factors that affect homes here. He brings patient, hands-on problem solving to every property-care visit.
At Truly Local, he oversees property care, maintenance coordination, and on-site setup operations. With a background in hands-on technical work and logistics, Travis takes a preventative approach: catching small issues before they become expensive problems.
Travis also offers hands-on bike maintenance workshops for individuals and small groups: lessons, practical or custom builds, tune-ups, and travel-ready disassembly and boxing so your bike gets home safely. Bring a project or start with the basics; it can be as straightforward or as custom as you want.

We built Truly Local as a hands-on, family-operated company.
